- 3-1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-1/2 cups margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup Karo syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cups ground walnuts
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
Method
Step 1
Mix flour and cinnamon. Reserve.
Step 2
Beat margarine, syrup and vanilla. Stir in flour and walnuts. Cover, refrigerate until chilled and easy to handle. At least 3 hours.
Step 3
Shape dough by rounded tablespoons into rolls 2-in. long. Place 2-in. apart on ungreased cookie sheet, shaping to form crescents.
Step 4
Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly browned on bottom. Cool on wire rack. Roll in powdered sugar.
