Ingredients
- 1/2 pound feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 pound ricotta cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 pound butter, melted (may need additional if using margarine)
- 1 pound phyllo dough, thawed
Method
Step 1
Blend cheeses and mix thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
Step 2
Cut phyllo into strips about 1-1/2-in. wide and line them up on a board. Brush with melted butter. Place 1 teaspoon of the filling on end of a pastry strip and fold corner over to make a triangle. Continue folding from side to side in the form of a triangle along the full length of the strip. Repeat.
Step 3
Place in greased baking pan. Lightly brush each triangle with melted butter. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
Step 4
May be frozen before baking.
