Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 16 chicken wings
- 6 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold water
Method
Step 1
Mix first 5 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Step 2
Place wings in crock pot. Add vinegar mixture. Cover and cook on low for 3-1/2 hours, until chicken is done. Remove wings to a dish, or place in the broiler for a few minutes on each side if you prefer them crispy.
Step 3
Pour juices into saucepan. Mix water and cornstarch until smooth and stir into juices. Bring to a a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Spoon over chicken.
