Ingredients
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup strawberry preserves
Method
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except preserves. Beat until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups of this mixture. Press remaining crumbs into bottom of greased 13x9-in. pan. Spread preserves over crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes.
