Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 teaspoon chopped onion
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
Method
Step 1
Defrost spinach and squeeze out water with a towel.
Step 2
In a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish melt butter. Beat eggs. Add milk, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Add cheese, spinach, and onion. Add to baking dish. Sprinkle with seasoned salt. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Cool for 45 minutes before cutting into squares.
Step 3
Squares can be frozen after baking. Reheat from frozen at 350° for 20 minutes.
