Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 4 pork loin chops, 1-1/2-in thick
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1-1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- hot buttered noodles
Method
Step 1
Mix flour, mustard, pepper, and allspice. Dredge pork chops in flour mixture, reserving the mixture. Brown chops in oil. Put in 2 quart baking dish.
Step 2
To drippings add cider, brown sugar and remaining flour mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly.
Step 3
Arrange apples and raisins around chops. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour cider mixture over all. Cover and bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes. Serve with hot buttered noodles.
