Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Ingredients (nut filling)
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Step 1
Combine nut filling ingredients. Set aside.
Step 2
In a bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs. Beat in vanilla.
Step 3
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
Step 4
Pour half of batter into greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle with half of nut mixture. Put in remaining batter and top with remaining nut mixture. Press nuts into dough. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
