Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 cup milk
Method
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. Combine eggs and milk and add all at once and mix until a soft ball forms.
Step 2
Turn dough onto floured surface. Knead for 5 minutes or until smooth. Roll out dough to 1/4-in thick. Cut into circles with a glass and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
