Ingredients
- 2-3 pound boneless pork loin roast
- 1 onion, quartered
- salt & pepper
- 4 potatoes, parboiled, optional
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 4 cups water
- 1 bouillon cube
Method
Step 1
Place roast in pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place onion quarters on top. Roast at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes. per pound. If fat collects in the bottom of the pan, potatoes can be added after 30 minutes of cooking.
Step 2
For gravy, pour off fat from pan. To the remaining drippings add flour, water, salt, pepper and bouillon. Simmer and stir until thickened. Strain.
