- 2 cans (20 ounces each) crushed pineapple
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 package (5.1 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cans (21 ounces each) cherry pie filling
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cans (15-1/4 ounces each) fruit cocktail, drained
- 2 can (11 ounces each) mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 container (16 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 package (7 ounces) flaked coconut, toasted
Method
Step 1
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Prepare cake batter according to package directions, but using using pineapple juice plus water for package measurement. Bake according to directions. Cool.
Step 2
Prepare pudding with milk according to directions.
Step 3
Cut cake into 1-in. pieces. Place half of cake in a 6 quart punch bowl. Top with half of pudding, pie filling, pineapple, bananas, fruit cocktail, oranges, whipped topping and coconut. Repeat layers. Chill for 6 hours.
