Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1-3/4 cups shortening
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/2 cup cold water
Method
Step 1
With fork or pastry blender mix together first four ingredients. In a separate bowl beat remaining ingredients.
Step 2
Combine the two mixtures slowly, stirring until blended. With hands mold dough into a ball. Chill for 15 minutes or more before rolling. Roll into 5 crusts on floured board or pastry cloth.
