Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup orange marmalade
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced, divided
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 6 (2 pounds) chicken thighs or cut of your choice
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- hot cooked rice
Method
Step 1
If you want, brown the chicken first in oil on the stovetop or in the broiler. This will help the texture especially if it has skin on.
Step 2
Mix broth, teriyaki sauce, garlic, marmalade, 1/4 cup green onion and cornstarch in crock pot. Add chicken. Turn to coat. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours until chicken is no longer pink.
Step 3
Sprinkle with nuts and remaining onions. Serve with rice.
