Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 ounces Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 ounces grated Hershey bar
- 1-1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Method
Step 1
Measure oatmeal and blend in food processor to a fine powder.
Step 2
Cream butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chips, candy and nuts.
Step 3
Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Roll into balls and place 2-in. apart on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 9 to 10 minutes.
