1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
ingredients (topping)
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 teaspoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (4 ounces) coconut **
Method
Step 1
Mix together crust ingredients. Spread in a greased 8-in. x 13-in. pan. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Mix topping ingredients together. Pour over first mixture. replace in oven and bake 20 minutes longer. Cut into bars.
Step 3
** Canned coconut is usually with the pie fillings. If you can't find it you can substitute flaked coconut, but I would add a little milk or condensed milk to moisten it
