Ingredients

  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 country style pork ribs, 1-1/2 inches thick

Method

Step 1

Mix 1/2 cup water, soy sauce, lemon juice, oil, brown sugar, garlic powder and pepper. Reserve, cover and refrigerate 1/2 cup of mixture for basting.

Step 2

Pour remaining mixture into a Ziploc bag with ribs. Seal bag and refrigerate 8 hours. Drain ribs and discard marinade.

Step 3

Place ribs and 1/2 cup water in microwave safe dish. Cover and microwave on high 20-25 minutes.

Step 4

Spray grill rack. Drain ribs and grill covered over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with reserved mixture.
