Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 square (2 ounces) bakers chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 baked pie shell
  • whipped cream

Method

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar until it's light and fluffy. Mix in melted and cooled chocolate and vanilla. add eggs one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each egg.

Step 2

Turn into pie shell and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. When ready to serve cover with whipped cream.

Step 3

***Note that this recipe contains uncooked eggs. Make sure you use fresh pasteurized eggs.***
