Ingredients

  • 3 large cucumbers, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sugar depending on how sweet you want it
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

Step 1

Combine cucumbers, onions and dill.

Step 2

In a saucepan mix sugar, vinegar, water and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour over cucumber mixture. Cover and chill for 3 hours.
