Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut to bite size pieces
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup, diluted with 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups Pepperidge Farm stuffing
  • 1 cup celery, chopped

Method

Step 1

Mix together stuffing and celery.

Step 2

In a greased 9-in. x 12-in casserole dish, layer chicken. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with cheese. Pour diluted soup over cheese. Top with stuffing and celery.

Step 3

Bake covered at 350° for 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes, to crisp and brown top.
