- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 sticks margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Method
Step 1
Line a 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan with plastic wrap. Mix flour, baking soda and cinnamon. In another bowl beat margarine and sugars. Add eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in pecans.
Step 2
Pat dough into pan. Refrigerate at least 4 hours until dough is firm enough to slice.
Step 3
Grease a large cookie sheet. Cut dough crosswise into 1/4-in. slices. Cut each slice into 1/4-in. sticks. Place sticks 1-in. apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 12 to 13 minutes.
