Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed potatoes
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1-1/2 pounds chicken, cut into 1-in pieces
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Ingredients (dumplings)

  • 2 cups baking mix
  • 2/3 cup milk

Method

Step 1

Put potatoes, carrot, celery and chicken in Crock Pot.

Step 2

Mix soup, water, thyme and pepper. Pour over chicken and vegetables. Cook 7-8 hours on low.

Step 3

Mix baking mix and milk. Season with fresh herbs if you like. Spoon over chicken mixture. Turn heat to high. Tilt lid to vent. Cook 30 minutes until dumplings are cooked in center.
