- 12 graham crackers, 4-3/4-in. x 2-1/2-in
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup flaked coconut
Method
Step 1
Line a 15-in x 10-in pan with foil. Place crackers flat in pan. Cover with marshmallows.
Step 2
In a saucepan cook and stir margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Spoon over marshmallows. Sprinkle with almonds and coconut.
Step 3
Bake at 350° for 14 to 15 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into 2-in. squares then cut each square in half to form triangles.
This recipe freezes well. Defrost them on the counter at room temperature for about 45 minutes and they’re ready to eat.
