Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 ounce (1 square) unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Method

Step 1

Sift flour and baking soda. Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until well blended.

Step 2

Melt chocolate together with margarine. Stir chocolate into egg mixture. Add vanilla, dry ingredients and finally the nuts and chips. Pour into a greased 13x9-in. pan. Bake a 350° for 30 minutes.
