Ingredients
- 1 bottom round or chuck roast, 3-4 pounds
- 1 cup water
- 8 crumbled ginger snap cookies
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 potatoes peeled
- 3 carrots cut into pieces
Method
Step 1
Brown roast if desired. Put roast into slow cooker with potatoes and carrots. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast and vegetables. Cook on high for 30 minutes, then on low for 8 to 9 hours.
