Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 ounces) refried beans
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 jar (8 ounces) hot or mild picante sauce
  • 1 can black olives, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 onions diced
  • 1 jar (8 ounces) hot salsa
  • 1 can (4.5 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups Monterey jack cheese

Method

Step 1

Spread refried beans in the bottom of a 13-in. x 9-in. pan. Mix sour cream and taco seasoning and spread over beans. Layer remaining ingredients on top in order listed. Some of the layers will be sparse but that's ok. Do not mix.

Step 2

Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.

This recipe makes a lot.  Sometimes I split it into 2 pans.
