Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- confectioners' sugar
Ingredients (pecan filling)
2/3 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Method
Step 1
In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs. Bean in vanilla.
Step 2
In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternating with sour cream.
Step 3
Pour half of batter into greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle with half of pecan mixture. top with remaining batter and pecan mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
