Ingredients

  • 1 pound large mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Method

Step 1

Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Chop the stems.

Step 2

Melt 2 tablespoons butter and brush on the mushroom caps. Place the caps hollow side up in a greased 3 quart cooking dish.

Step 3

Saute onions and chopped stems in remaining butter until tender. Stir in stuffing mix, broth, and garlic salt.

Step 4

Stuff mushrooms with mixture. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
