Ingredients
- 1 pastry shell, partly cooked
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar, grated
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup light cream
- 1/2 cup milk
Method
Step 1
Separate meat into small pieces. In a pan cook until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
Step 2
Add onion to pan and cook until soft. Drain onions. Combine with sausage. Sprinkle mixture over bottom of pastry shell.
Step 3
Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Step 4
In a bowl combine eggs, salt, cream and milk. Beat slightly. Pour over ingredients in pastry shell. Bake at 375° for 40-45 minutes.
