Ingredients
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce or 16 ounces salsa
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- dash of pepper
- 1-1/3 cups MInute Rice, uncooked, or 2 cups leftover cooked rice works too (leave out the water)
Method
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except rice in a sauce pan. Cover and bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Stir with a fork.
